Position Overview:

FTC Solar Inc is looking for a Director of Sale/Senior Account Manager who will be responsible for selling our tracker products as well as software products, SunDAT and Atlas. The Sales position will be a part of the FTC Solar SE Asia team. The primary purpose of this role is to increase FTC Solar’s market share in SE Asia region.

We’re looking for a self-starter, entrepreneurial type who can hit the ground running. The right person will be able to quickly identify opportunities to increase FTC’s market share, develop sales strategies to achieve our goals, and execute on these strategies in a self-directed manner.

Responsibilities:

This position will perform a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:

· Develop sale strategies to evangelize, Trackers and software Atlas and SunDAT to new potential customers

· Regularly communicate with existing and potential customers to increase product awareness and adoption

· Automate customer engagement and streamline the sales process (sale proposal, sale forecast)

· Develop tools/processes to regularly fill the sales pipeline and increase the volume of leads that convert into customers

· Perform regular competitive analysis to assess the solar tracker market and how our products are positioned

· Recommend updates to sale strategy based on opportunities in the market

· Attend industry conferences and exhibitions to market the trackers and software products and meet with customers

· Work with FTC Solar’s software team to identify opportunities for strategic partnerships/bundled sales

· Manage potential and existing customer database in Salesforce

· Channel feedback from sales engagements to our product development teams

Requirements:

· 8+ years in electrical or solar industry sales roles

· Strong network of industry leaders/decision-makers (particularly with PV developers and EPC in SE Asia)

· Strong experience with sale platforms. (i.e. Salesforce)

· Experience building customer engagement

· Familiarity with strategic selling concept

· Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
